LULA, Ga. — Lula city water customers are being asked to continue to conserve water this weekend after the County Line Water Tank sprang a leak.

City officials said the issue developed over several days and was discovered on Thursday at the tank off Old Cornelia Highway. Crews completed repairs on Friday, April 24, but had to lower the tank’s water level to do so.

Although the tank has been repaired, Lula water customers are still encouraged to reduce non-essential water use, including lawn and garden watering, over the weekend to allow tank levels to return to normal.
