An armed store clerk thwarts a robbery in LaGrange according to police.
On May 13, 2026, at approximately 1000 hours, Officers responded to Fuller’s Superette, located at 900 Hamilton Road, in regard to a robbery. Upon arrival Officers made contact with the clerk (Sheila Taylor). Taylor stated that an unknown black male, entered the store and presented her with a note stating, “put all the money in a bag”.
Taylor stated she grabbed a gun from under the counter and pointed it at the suspect. Taylor stated the suspect grabbed the note and immediately took flight on foot traveling southbound on Hamilton Road. This investigation remains active.
