
An argument between two people in South Columbus Wednesday ended with both parties being apprehended by the Muscogee County Sheriff’s Office.
On May 13, 2026, the Muscogee County Sheriff’s Office Collaborative Intelligence Group (CIG) Patrol and the MCSO HEAT Unit were conducting patrols in the south end of the county. During their patrol, CIG patrol investigators observed an unidentified male, later identified as Jonathan Ullba-Valdez, running across three lanes of traffic, following an argument with an unidentified female, later identified as Billie-Jean Rogers.
Jonathan Ullba-Valdez was apprehended promptly after a brief foot pursuit. Upon further investigation, deputies discovered that Billie-Jean Rogers had active felony bench warrants for Kidnapping and Hijacking a Motor Vehicle. A subsequent search of Jonathan Ullba-Valdez revealed he was in possession of cocaine. Both individuals were arrested and transported to the Muscogee County Jail without incident.
