
On April 23, 2026, a contracted kitchen worker in the Troup County Jail was arrested and charged by the Troup County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division after an investigation determined that the female kitchen worker had conspired with two other individuals to distribute marijuana, “K2 strips”, and cigarettes to an inmate worker in the jail.
The kitchen worker, Eugenia A. Watson of Lagrange, was charged with Conspiracy to Commit Crossing the Guard Lines with Drugs as well as Conspiracy to Commit Items Prohibited for Possession by Inmates. An inmate inside the jail, Christopher Barnard Hill was charged with Conspiracy to Commit Crossing the Guard Lines and Conspiracy to Commit Items Prohibited for Possession by Inmates.
Another individual, Quincy Jermon Hill, also conspired to get contraband into the facility with Watson however his whereabouts are unknown at this time. We are asking anyone that may know where Quincy Hill is to call the Troup County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division at 706-883-1615 or Troup County Crimestoppers at 706-812-1000.
Sheriff Woodruff has zero tolerance for anyone bringing contraband into the jail or even attempting to bring contraband into the jail. If anyone is caught doing so whether it be an inmate, an employee, or a citizen, they will be charged to the fullest extent of the law.
