First responders including a dive team from Columbus Fire & EMS are searching the Chattahoochee River for a missing man. The Columbus Police Department identified the missing person as Robert Henderson.
Henderson was last seen early Monday morning, April 27, 2026, in the area of 1st Avenue and 21st Street near the Chattahoochee River. His clothing description is unknown. If you have any information on his whereabouts, call 911 or Det. S. Jacobs at 706-392-7077.
Emergency workers from the Columbus Fire Department, Columbus Police Department and Georgia Department of Natural Resources were all on the scene Monday morning.
