Investigators with the Troup County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division have arrested a Meriwether County man after an investigation determined that he inappropriately touched a family member under the age of 13, at a location in Troup County.
This incident was originally reported to the Meriwether County Sheriff’s Office and was referred to our agency once it was confirmed that the crime occurred in Troup County. On September 17, Terry Prestridge, 63 years old, was arrested at his home and transported to the jail and is charged with child molestation.
