Piedmont Healthcare will cut the ribbon on a specialty pharmacy on Friday, May 8, at 10:00 am, which could be a game changer for patients with unique medication needs.
The goal of Piedmont Specialty Pharmacy South is to improve access to therapies for patients who often face the greatest barriers to care. By coordinating medication management, insurance support and ongoing clinical monitoring, the new pharmacy is focused on helping patients with complex diseases stay on therapy, improve outcomes and experience a higher quality of life.
This specialty pharmacy is designed to support unique medication needs for cardiology, endocrinology, gastroenterology, neurology, pulmonology, rheumatology and urology medical specialties.
The Piedmont Specialty Pharmacy South will be located at Piedmont Columbus Regional Midtown, 710 Center Street. It is Piedmont’s sixth pharmacy in Columbus.
