Woman killed in lawn mower accident in Elbert County

ELBERTON, Ga. — A 67-year-old woman died Monday afternoon following a lawn mower accident in Elbert County.

According to Elbert County Deputy Coroner Beth Seymour, Teresa Ann Haggstrom was killed at a residence on Green Acres Road. Emergency personnel responded to the scene shortly before 5 p.m. on June 22. Haggstrom was pronounced dead at the scene.

Authorities have not released further details. The Elbert County Sheriff’s Office and the coroner’s office are investigating the incident.

“Our thoughts and condolences are with Mrs. Haggstrom’s family and friends during this difficult time,” said Seymour.
