
A Georgia man died of a heart attack while disposing the body of his girlfriend he strangled to death. Daniel Robbins of Macon, Georgia was discovered in the woods together with his girlfriend Jessica Folds in Chambers County, Alabama. District Attorney Mike Segrest announced the results of their autopsies this week.
On June 10, 2026, at approximately 12:20 p.m., Chambers County deputies were dispatched to County Road 86 in reference to a vehicle parked on the roadway. Upon arrival, deputies located a deceased white female and white male in a wooded area near the vehicle.
The vehicle was a truck that belonged to Robbins and it was still running when the bodies were found. Chambers County deputies discovered drag marks at the scene indicating Robbins dragged the body of Folds into the wooded area. The district attorney said Folds cause of death was strangulation.
Robbins was located near the body of his girlfriend in a fetal position dead from a heart attack.
