Hill was working the cash register Tuesday morning at the Dollar General on Victory Drive when 33-year-old Jerome Willis approached to buy some hamburger buns. Willis handed Hill two dollar bills before shooting her in the head. Hill died on the scene. Willis was shot and killed by police officers after a shootout about two hours after the deadly store shooting.
