An autopsy has been ordered to determine the cause of death for a 26-year-old man found dead in Baldwin over the weekend.
Around 7:30 a.m. on February 25, law enforcement and EMS responded to a 911 call about an unresponsive person at 453 Highland Pointe Drive.
When Habersham County deputies and Baldwin police arrived, they found the deceased man inside the home, says Baldwin Police Chief Chris Jones.
Neighbors reported a heavy police presence at the scene Saturday morning. Habersham County Coroner Kasey McEntire says the autopsy was ordered primarily due to the man’s age. Jones says the investigation is ongoing.
