LaGrange, GA – On August 14, 2026, the Criminal Investigation Division with the LaGrange Police Department issued arrest warrants for Quamarion Johnson and Laquincy Wilson Jr. for the offense of malice murder after an investigation into an incident at 1006 Houston Street.
On August 14, 2026, Quamarion Johnson was served with his arrest warrant at the Troup County Jail without incident.
On August 17, 2026, Laquincy Wilson Jr. was taken into custody without incident and booked into the Troup County Jail. Wilson was the 3rd individual arrested in connection with the ongoing murder investigation.
On Sunday, November 9, 2025, at approximately 8:35 p.m., Officers with the LaGrange Police Department responded to a report of shots fired at 1006 Houston Street. Upon arrival, officers located an unresponsive male victim inside the residence, identified as Rashidi Grant. Emergency medical personnel determined that Mr. Grant had sustained an apparent gunshot wound and was deceased at the scene.
