HALL COUNTY, Ga. — A 36-year-old Dahlonega man died Sunday morning following a single-vehicle wreck on Thompson Bridge Road/SR 60 in Hall County.
According to the Georgia State Patrol, Johnathan Blackwell was driving a Ford F-150 south near Timbercreek Trail when the truck crossed into the opposite lane and left the roadway.
The truck struck numerous trees, seriously injuring Blackwell, troopers said. He was the only person in the vehicle.
A trooper from GSP’s Gainesville post responded to the crash around 8:30 a.m. Oct. 11. Blackwell was transported to the hospital, where he later died.
