LULA, Ga. — Fire destroyed a mobile home in Lula Monday afternoon, with flames also spreading to nearby woods and vehicles.
Hall County Fire Rescue responded around 1 p.m. to the 5600 block of Hemlock Street, where crews arrived to find a double-wide mobile home fully engulfed in flames.
Firefighters launched a defensive attack and were able to knock down the bulk of the fire. The flames extended into a nearby wooded area and ignited two vehicles, but those fires were also brought under control, said Hall County Fire Rescue Public Information Officer Kimberlie Ledsinger.

A primary search of the home found no one inside, and both residents were accounted for. No injuries were reported.
The home is considered a total loss. The American Red Cross was notified to assist two adults displaced by the fire.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation by the Hall County Fire Marshal’s Office.
This is the third Hall County home lost to fire in two days.
A weekend fire early Sunday, April 19, destroyed a home northwest of Gainesville. Fire also destroyed a single-story residence southeast of Gainesville Sunday evening. Firefighters rescued several kittens from the property.
