LULA, Ga. — Authorities have located a missing Lula man whose disappearance Saturday raised concern.
Shane Harris Bolding, 55, of Lula, was found in custody in Cookeville, Tennessee.
Bolding was reported missing after leaving his home on Saturday, March 28, without his wallet or cell phone, according to investigators.
After Hall County investigators issued a public lookout on social media, Now Georgia shared the alert. A reader later flagged Bolding’s name in an online jail report, prompting Now Georgia to contact local authorities and Tennessee authorities to verify the information.
According to the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office, the Tennessee Highway Patrol arrested Bolding the night of his disappearance on charges of DUI and speeding.
As of Wednesday, April 1, he remained in jail on a $3,500 bond.
