The Clarkesville Water Department has canceled the Boil Water Advisory it issued earlier today, January 18, for some of its customers.
The advisory was issued as a precaution after a water main broke at Washington and Louise Streets. The department says crews were able to repair the line without a loss of pressure to the system.
Water customers in the affected area may resume normal water consumption.
