CORNELIA, Ga. — A Toccoa driver was charged with following too closely after a four-vehicle chain-reaction crash at a Cornelia traffic light Friday, Oct. 16.

The crash occurred around 11:24 a.m. on U.S. 441 Business at VFW Post Road, according to the Georgia State Patrol.

A westbound Ford F-250 driven by 23-year-old Devin Chambers struck the rear of a Toyota 4Runner stopped at the red light. The impact pushed the Toyota into a Dodge Challenger, which then struck a Kia Sorento. All three vehicles were stopped at the light.

Chambers was charged with following too closely and received a warning for distracted driving.

The Georgia State Patrol did not report any injuries.
