A fundraiser has been established to support the immediate family members of Army veteran Sean Wall who was struck and killed in Meriwether County. The 36-year-old combat vet reportedly had car trouble and was walking along Route 362 when he was hit at 5:00 am September 10, 2026. No suspect has been detained in connection to the fatal hit-and-run and a special agent with the Georgia Bureau of Investigation told NowGeorgia.com the case is an “open investigation”, and he could not comment further. The Georgia State Patrol is also investigating the incident.
Wall served in the Iraq War and received the Iraq Campaign Medal, the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, and his Parachutist Badge according to a GoFundMe account. He is survived by four children who need financial assistance after his untimely death. “Sean was a devoted, hands-on father and the primary support for all four of his children,” the fundraiser notes.
Donations will help with everyday needs like rent, utilities, daycare, school and sports activities, clothing, diapers, and other personal essentials for the children according to the GoFundMe account established by the victim’s mother. You can donate to that account here: Fundraiser by Sharon Oxford : Support Sean Wall’s Four Children
Supporters can also help the family by donating directly to a “Sean Wall fund” set up for his children at West Central Georgia Bank in Thomaston, GA. The address is 617 North Church Street, Thomaston, Ga 30286. You can also donate by telephone by calling 706-647-8951.
