With heavy hearts, we announce that Tina Denise Martin, age 65, of Cornelia, has gone home to be with her Lord & Savior on August 25, 2026.
Tina was the daughter of the late Robert and Ruby Lee Farmer. Tina has laid down her burdens and traded her wheelchair for a new set of wings. Tina was a woman whose inner strength, grace, and joy left a mark on anyone who knew her. She was without question one of the strongest souls to ever be on this earth. Even though she faced her physical challenge, she never let her circumstances define her spirit, limit her love, or dictate her joy! Where others may have seen limitation, she saw purpose. Tina possessed a rare resilience: never complaining, never questioning, “Why me”? But instead, she chose every single day to meet life with a radiant smile, open heart, and vibrant faith. Her light shone so brightly. She was definitely the light of our family! She found joy in the simple, beautiful moments of life, cherishing long conversations and spending time with her grandchildren. Tina also loved arts and crafts. To know Tina was to be reminded of what real strength looks like.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Queen.
Survivors include son Eric Martin (Meghan Truhn), brothers David Brock (Nichole Wade), Randy Farmer (Misty), Larry Farmer, and Joseph Farmer, sister Joyce Marcus, grandchildren Lylah, Adriana, Athena, Asher, Atlas, and Davina Martin, nieces Crystal Ivester (Cody Manley) and Juanita Reece, as well as numerous extended family.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, September 4, 2026, at Hillside Memorial Chapel. The family will receive friends at the funeral home prior to the service on Friday from 1-2 PM.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Hillside Memorial Chapel to assist with final expenses.
