OAKWOOD — Hall County Sheriff’s Office investigators seized an estimated $37,000 worth of illegal drugs and arrested three people Tuesday during the execution of a search warrant at a residence near Oakwood.
According to the sheriff’s office, investigators with the Special Investigations Unit obtained a search warrant after receiving information about suspected drug activity at a home in the 3100 block of Ivey Hill Circle.
During the search Tuesday afternoon, investigators found and seized approximately 19 grams of cocaine, 5.5 pounds of marijuana, 1 pound and 3 ounces of THC wax, and 1,300 THC vape cartridges from a bedroom inside the residence. Authorities also confiscated about $5,800 in cash.
The three people arrested at the home were identified as Brandon Maximiliano Fuentes, 18, Brianna Xithlaly Fuentes, 20, and Yuritzy Alexandra Lopez, 20. All three reside at the residence, according to authorities.
Each suspect was charged with one count of possession of THC oil with intent to distribute, a felony.
Investigators transported the three to the Hall County Jail, where they remained held without bond as of Wednesday.
The sheriff’s office said additional charges are expected as the investigation continues.
