A third suspect is in custody for the double murder of two teens in Webster County, GA according to Chief Deputy Will Rodgers. 18-year-old Nacorian Kanard Williams was arrested Thursday, July 16, 2026, for multiple charges including felony murder, aggravated assault and armed robbery for the deaths of 17-year-old Jo’Quavious Jones and 19-year-old Zekevian James.
Williams joins the two previously arrested suspects, Kemarion Tyrique Latimer, 18, and Terrence Terrell Bell Jr., 18, who were arrested earlier in the investigation and face the same charges. All three defendants are currently being held at the Sumter County Jail without bond.
The two teen victims were discovered dead Wednesday July 1, 2026, in the area of Highway 41 north of Preston, Georgia. Columbus television station WTVM reported the mother of one of the teens used a tracking device on her cell phone which led to the discovery of a vehicle and the victims nearby at the scene. Autopsy results including the cause of death for the teens have not been released.
