Voters in northeast Georgia are getting a chance to ‘test drive’ the state’s new voting machines ahead of next year’s election.
A demonstration machine is now set up at the White County Voter Registrar Office in Cleveland.
White County Election Superintendent Garrison Baker and Chief Voter Registrar Lisa Manning encourage voters to stop by and familiarize themselves with how the machines operate.
The new voting machines will be used starting in March 2020 for the presidential primary.
The demonstration machine is available to the public weekdays between 9 a.m.-4 p.m. through November 15.
The Voter Registrar Office is located in Suite 210-A of the Mauney Building at 1241 Helen Highway.
