If you plan on traveling SR 17/75 North this week, prepare for delays.
Contractors for the Georgia Department of Transportation will be widening the shoulders of the road starting Tuesday, March 12. The crews will work Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. The work will stretch from Robertstown north for approximately two miles.
Officials say there will be lane closures so expect delays and plan accordingly.
The project is expected to take approximately a week, depending on the weather.
