DAWSON COUNTY, Ga. — A man reported missing near Amicalola Falls State Park has been found safe, according to the Dawson County Sheriff’s Office.
Authorities identified the man as Bryant Vinson, who had been the subject of a search after family members reported concerns for his safety. Vinson was believed to have been camping in the area when he was last heard from.
Deputies and search crews had been working to locate him in and around Amicalola Falls State Park.
Officials said Vinson has now been located and is safe. No additional details about where he was found have been released.
Authorities thanked the public for their concern and assistance during the search.
