Phenix City Little League enjoying ‘once-in-a-lifetime experience’

The Phenix City Little League team representing the Southeast in the upcoming Little League World Series is in Williamsport, Pennsylvania “taking it all in, putting in the work, and enjoying every second of this once-in-a-lifetime experience,” according to their Facebook page. The 12U All-Stars have been sharing details of their journey to become world champions with the public on social media.

The team has been hitting the practice field in Williamsport, visiting the Little League Museum, shopping for LLWS “swag” and busy making new friends from around the globe. A fundraiser is being held back home at the Culver’s Phenix City location Monday night. A portion of the sales will go directly to the team. There is also a GoFundMe account. Phenix City will make their Little League World Series debut this Wednesday, August 19, 2026. The Southeast champs will square off against the Northwest team at 3:00 pm. The game will be televised live on ESPN. There are several local watch parties planned in Phenix City and Columbus for those who can’t make the trip to Williamsport.
