LULA, Ga. — Two adults were displaced Wednesday afternoon after a fire gutted a mobile home in Lula.
Around 3:30 p.m. on Sept. 9, Hall County Fire Rescue responded to the blaze in the 7100 block of Belton Bridge Road. Firefighters arrived in less than six minutes and found flames engulfing approximately half of the single-wide mobile home, said Hall County Fire Public Information Officer Kimberlie Ledsinger.
Crews quickly brought the fire under control, preventing it from spreading throughout the rest of the residence. A search confirmed no one was inside, and no firefighters were injured, said Ledsinger.

The American Red Cross was contacted to assist the two displaced residents.
The Hall County Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating the cause of the fire.
