The 31st annual Piedmont Classic kicks off two days of events on Monday, April 20, to benefit the John B. Amos Cancer Center and Bill and Olivia Amos Children’s Hospital.
The event sponsored by Mercedes-Benz of Columbus will be held at the Country Club of Columbus, beginning with a golf tournament on Monday and a full day of tennis and pickleball on Tuesday, April 21.
Avid tennis, pickleball, and golf players in the Chattahoochee Valley will have the opportunity to pair up with the Columbus State University tennis team, as well as pickleball and golf professionals, for top-notch instruction and friendly competition.

The event has raised more than $4 million to date. Last year’s Piedmont Classic funded a new imaging room equipped with a One DR Compass 50 kW Floor Mounted System with a Focus Detector. This advanced technology provides highly automated, state-of-the-art image processing, enhancing both the accuracy of care and the patient experience for those undergoing cancer treatment.
Proceeds from this year’s Piedmont Classic will continue to support advanced medical technology and patient comfort initiatives at the John B. Amos Cancer Center and the Bill and Olivia Amos Children’s Hospital.Â

Registration is open online or contact Stacy Bridges with the Piedmont Columbus Regional Foundation at 706-660-6204 or [email protected] for more information.
The John B. Amos Cancer Center is the region’s only comprehensive cancer center, and the Bill and Olivia Amos Children’s Hospital is west Georgia and east Alabama’s Children’s Miracle Network Hospital.
