For the second straight year, the Habersham Stage Raiders placed first in the GHSA Region 8-6A One Act Play competition. The competition was held Saturday, October 26 in Gainesville.
Central High Troupe 4860 performed “Failure: A Love Story” by Philip Dawkins. It was directed by HCHS drama teacher Jeremy Bishop.
HCHS senior Rylan Pugh was awarded Best Actor. Seniors Ellawyn Ketch and Ashton Umbehant were named to the All-Star Cast.
The GHSA State One Act Play Championships will be held in November.
