BALDWIN, Ga. — Friends and loved ones are rallying around the family of Ashlie Robertson, a 41-year-old mother of four who was killed in a head-on collision with a Fieldale Farms feed truck in Baldwin earlier this week.

An online fundraiser organized by Niki Borchert is raising money to help Robertson’s family with funeral and memorial expenses following her sudden death on Tuesday, Aug. 18.

Robertson, of Habersham County, is remembered by her family as a hardworking, fiercely devoted mother with a creative spirit, strong faith, and a willingness to give whatever she had to help someone else.

“She was the kind of person who would gladly give you the shirt off her back,” her obituary states.

Borchert said every donation made to the GoFundMe account will help ease the family’s financial burden.

“This loss is devastating, and in the middle of so much grief, her family is also facing the difficult reality of funeral and memorial expenses,” the fundraiser states. Those unable to donate are being asked to share the fundraiser and keep Robertson’s family in their prayers.

Robertson is survived by her four daughters and two grandchildren.
