Death investigation underway in Harris County after woman found in yard

Update: The Harris County Sheriff’s Office identified the deceased woman as 35-year-old Nicole Karastury Elliott. The victim was allegedly shot and killed by Andrew Roy Harris during a domestic dispute. A death investigation is underway in Harris County after a woman was discovered deceased in the yard of a home on Highway 208 Monday afternoon. The incident occurred about two miles outside of the Waverly Hall community.

Investigators with the Georgia Bureau of Investigation and the Harris County Sheriff’s Office have responded to the scene. A large tent was erected as multiple members of law enforcement process the area. Foul play is suspected.
