The Phenix City All-Stars have done it again. The Southeast champions topped the Northwest team 4-2 in a game one rematch Tuesday to advance in the Little League World Series. Jerry Taylor was the winning pitcher for Phenix City. Kinley Rasmus tied another LLWS record with her 5th hit in the series.
Phenix City has now notched three consecutive wins to fight their way out of the loser’s bracket in Williamsport, PA. The 12U All-Stars are two wins away from playing in the National Championship game Saturday. Phenix City will square off against the winner of the Great Lakes-Metro matchup on Wednesday August 26, 2026.
