Cleveland man indicted on multiple child molestation charges

A White County Grand Jury has indicted a Cleveland man on multiple counts of child cruelty and sex crimes against children.

Jurors handed down indictments April 2 against 44-year old Scott Shelby. They indicted Shelby on 10 counts of cruelty to children, four counts of aggravated child molestation, two counts of simple battery and aggravated assault, and sexual battery.

The charges are in connection with alleged incidents that occurred at a residence on Rocket Drive in Cleveland, reports WRWH News.

White County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Shelby in February.
