ATLANTA — A Georgia Lottery player in Northeast Georgia has claimed a $10 million top prize from a scratch-off ticket, lottery officials announced.

The winning ticket for the “500X The Money” scratcher was purchased at The I Market on U.S. Highway 441 North in Clayton. The player claimed the prize on April 21 and chose the lump sum option, receiving $5,200,629.

Elsewhere in Georgia, a player in Columbus won $1 million playing the “2nd Edition Billionaire Club” scratcher. The ticket was purchased at Shell Mart on Veterans Parkway. That prize was claimed on April 23, with the winner opting for a lump sum of $535,398.06.
