A single-vehicle accident Sunday on Interstate 16 in Emanuel County killed an Alto teen and his passenger.
Jordan Hunter Thomas, 19, died from injuries after the 2011 Toyota Tacoma double-cab pickup truck he was driving hydroplaned on wet pavement. The truck ran off the road near mile marker 93.5 and struck a tree, the Georgia State Patrol reports.
The wreck also killed Bradley Coleman Couey, 18, of Kingston.
