Street drugs resemble children’s vitamins in Hamilton bust

Ecstasy tablets and other drugs seized in Hamilton bust (Hamilton Police Department)

Street drugs seized by the Hamilton Police Department resemble popular children’s vitamins. A social media post featuring a picture of ecstasy tablets came with a warning to parents from police.

On Friday July 31, 2026, while conducting proactive traffic enforcement, Hamilton Police officers arrested an individual found in possession of suspected cocaine, suspected MDMA (Ecstasy), and a quantity of suspected marijuana.

Parents, please be aware: Ecstasy (MDMA) tablets often come in bright, multicolored shapes and can resemble children’s vitamins or candy. These colorful pills can be especially dangerous because they may appear harmless to children and teens.

This is why proactive policing matters. Our officers remain committed to removing illegal narcotics from our streets before they make their way into Hamilton and Harris County neighborhoods, the Hamilton Police Department posted.

Police did not identify the suspect charged with possession of the illegal drugs.
