Another murder is being reported in Columbus where an outbreak of gun violence has claimed multiple lives in recent weeks. The latest deadly shooting occurred late Monday night July 13, 2026, at 1130 Curtis Street.
Muscogee County Coroner Buddy Bryan said Davon Wallace was pronounced dead hours later at 3:30 am the morning of July 14, 2026, at Piedmont Midtown Hospital. Bryan said the 34-year-old died from multiple gunshot wounds.
The Columbus Police Department has not issued a statement regarding the latest shooting or said if there is a person of interest in the case. This is a developing story.
