Sheriff Greg Countryman announced visitation at the Muscogee County Jail will be temporarily suspended for three days. The sheriff said he implemented a no visitors policy this week only while the office celebrates employees.
“In appreciation for the outstanding employees of the Muscogee County Sheriff’s Office, we will honor their hard work and dedication. This will take place May 11th through May 13th. As the event will be held in the jail parking lot, we will not have jail visitations for the aforementioned dates. Thank you for your understanding and please plan accordingly.

Visitation will resume at the jail Thursday May 14, 2026.
