Storms returning to North Georgia

Tuesday will be dominated by sunshine and low humidity, though it will be going back up just a tad. Highs will run in the low/mid-80s in the mountains and upper-80s/low-90s in the foothills. Starting Wednesday, an approaching upper level disturbance trailing a low pressure system in Canada will bring moisture back north. We'll see just isolated, mainly afternoon storms on Wednesday but more widespread showers and storms are likely on Thursday. Models are in better agreement on the front stalling nearby enough to keep more widespread showers and storms on Friday, with a little less coverage by Saturday. We'll be keeping a very close eye on the forecast for Thursday night, and hoping for some breaks in the clouds to catch the 96% lunar eclipse.
