President Franklin Delano Roosevelt helped put Warm Springs on the map, but the small town in Meriwether County is still thriving more than 100 years later.
This weekend, the charming historic community hosts their 25th annual spring celebration. It’s a two-day event beginning Saturday, April 18, featuring local artisan talents, live music, locally grown produce, and food vendors. The Spring Fling is free to the public.

On Saturday at 12:30 PM, The Sidemen, an acoustic band playing favorite hits from the 70s, 80s, and 90s will kick off the celebration with some feel-good tunes and throwback vibes.
On Sunday between 1:30 PM and 3:30 PM, live music will feature a performance by AJ Robinson, a rising young artist from Cataula who recently competed on The Voice. With a natural ear for music, AJ discovered his passion at just 5 years old and has grown into a talented pianist, guitarist, and singer-songwriter.

There’s limited seating in the park at the Warm Springs Welcome Center, so feel free to bring a lawn chair if you want to sit & enjoy the live music.
While in Warm Springs, maybe you can visit a few of the local shops on the square, the historic Little White House, the Warm Springs National Fish Hatchery Aquarium, take in a breathtaking view from Dowdell’s Knob at FDR State Park, or catch a meal at the Bulloch House Restaurant’s famous buffet.

It’s a short drive to Warm Springs and worth soaking in the history, some hometown Southern hospitality, and a fun-filled family event this weekend at the annual Spring Festival.
