The fourth and final Open Mic Monday of the season gets underway Monday, December 16th at 7:00 pm with a Battle of the Bands at the Historic Ritz Theatre.
The winner will not only receive a $50 cash prize, but also a paid gig at the 2020 Ida Cox Summer Music Series. Each month’s winners are invited back for a Winners’ Showcase in January.
Anyone interested in signing up their band can do so by email at [email protected] or at the Historic Ritz Theatre the evening of the show on a first-come, first-up basis up until 6:30 pm. Contestants will play 2 songs or perform for 10 minutes. Due to time constraints, this competition will be limited to the first 6 bands to sign up.
As always this is a free event not only for participants but for the public as well.
