TFS soccer, baseball collects All-State honors

The TFS soccer program garnered three All-State selections – two for the boys and one for the girls. This comes on the heels of a yet another great season for both teams.

The Indians featured senior Petar Gromiko and junior Tyson Hall on the GIAA All-State list, while the Lady Indians were represented by junior LB Kafsky.

Gromiko (Belgrade, Serbia) had eight goals and seven assists, playing various positions for the Final 4 team. He was also an All-Star game selection and an All-Region pick.

Hall (Mt. Airy, GA) was a vital part of the Indians lineup, and collected four goals and five assists this season.

Kafsky (Clarkesville, GA), meanwhile, posted a team-high 22 goals and added five assists, and has the 2nd-most goals in Lady Indians history. She was also an All-Star game honoree and All-Region selection.

Baseball honors

The Indians were represented in year-end honors by GIAA, as both senior Ashton Roache and coach Justin Pollock earned recognition.

Roache (Nassau, Bahamas) is the school’s all-time leader in nearly every category, and this season hit .483 with four homeruns. His 36 RBI, 47 runs, and 16 doubles were all team single-season records.

Roache was named All-State for the third time in his career, becoming just one of three in program history to garner three or more.

Pollock, who ended the 2026 season with 99 career wins at the high school level, is set to coach the GIAA All-Star game. Roache was also selected, but is unable to play in the contest.
