A single-vehicle wreck claimed the life of a Stephens County man.
Barak Thomas Graves, 76, of Martin, was traveling west on GA 336 when his car ran off the highway near Jenkins Ferry Road. The Chevy Cobalt struck a tree.
The crash happened around 12:40 p.m. Tuesday, Mize says. Graves was pronounced dead at the scene.
According to his obituary, Graves was a U.S. Navy veteran who later worked as a bus driver for the U.S. Marine Corps.
The State Patrol says there were no obvious indications as to what may have caused the deadly crash.
