If you travel SR 347/Lanier Islands Parkway get ready for delays. The Georgia Department of Transportation says the road widening project this week will result in single lane closures from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. through Friday, March, 27.
Crews will utilize the closures to perform final asphalt topping and sidewalk/sod installation on SR 347 between Holiday Marina and McEver Road. The work is weather permitting.
