
On March 23, 2026, at approximately 0930 hours, the Barbour County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit—along with investigators and deputies—executed a search warrant at 1661 South Eufaula Avenue (Eufaula Vape and Tobacco Store) following approximately nine months of undercover investigation.
During the investigation, deputies observed juveniles—as young as 14 years old—enter the business, pay for, and leave with controlled substances that are illegal to purchase or possess. During the search, the following items were located and seized: THC vape pens, THC gummies, THC-flavored beverages, approximately 80 grams of synthetic marijuana (spice), a .38 Special revolver, and an undisclosed amount of U.S. currency.
Patricia Leighann Waters, who was working at the store at the time of the search, was arrested on a charge of unlawful distribution of a controlled substance. She was transported to the Barbour County Jail, processed, and released on bond. A court date is pending.
The owner of the business, Faud Ahmad Alsaify, was not present at the time of the search. Charges are pending, and an arrest is forthcoming.
