The work of law enforcement and providing emergency health care often goes hand in hand. The Troup County Sheriff’s Office has recognized two nurses with the Safety Hero Award this week.

Lieutenant Jessica Noles and Captain Garrett Pressley attended a presentation at Wellstar West Georgia Medical Center, where they recognized nurses Sidney Bates and Brianna Neese with the Safety Hero Award for their assistance with a victim of a crime who was under their care.

Recently, Lieutenant Noles provided training to the staff at Wellstar to better equip them to identify and respond to potential victims and this is certainly a full circle moment for Noles and the staff at Wellstar.
