The wait is finally over! Ramshackle 2026 will take place on Saturday, June 6, 2026, in downtown Clayton beginning at 10 a.m. This year marks the third annual event, which has quickly become one of Rabun County’s most anticipated community block parties. Visitors can enjoy more than 70 vendors, live music, local restaurants, art exhibits, family-friendly activities, and much more throughout the day.
According to Shane Burns, a local mortgage lender with Guild Mortgage, Ramshackle has grown into Clayton’s largest annual street festival.
“It is the largest street party that Clayton has all year long,” Burns said. “There’s a large stage in the middle of downtown with live music.”

Local musicians will kick off the entertainment lineup at 1 p.m., leading up to a performance by Jake McCrackin & Blue Ridge Lonesome, known for their blend of Southern rock and classic country. Their high-energy set will be followed by headliner Grady Spencer and the Vagabonds.
“It’s a ton of fun,” Burns said. “Everybody comes downtown and all the local stores downtown have specials going on. All the locals and tourists come into town. It’s a lot of fun.”
Summer kickoff
According to Kendall Rumsey of Of These Mountains, the organization behind Ramshackle, the event serves as both a kickoff to summer and a celebration of the local businesses that make Clayton unique.
“Ramshackle is our kickoff to summer and a celebration of all the great stores and restaurants in Clayton,” Rumsey said. “In our third year, Ramshackle has quickly become the highlight of our summer events calendar. It’s an event that highlights all that makes Clayton so special.”
Despite stormy weather affecting part of last year’s event, Ramshackle attracted approximately 5,000 attendees. With only minimal chances of precipitation currently in the forecast, organizers expect attendance to range between 5,000 and 6,000 people this year.
“This year we have expanded our kids’ area and are featuring a student art show in Rock House Park,” Rumsey said.
Mountain-town charm
Beyond the music and festivities, Ramshackle offers visitors an opportunity to experience everything Rabun County has to offer. Guests are encouraged to spend the day—or even the entire weekend—exploring Clayton’s charming downtown, unique shops, local restaurants, mountain views, waterfalls, hiking trails, and outdoor recreation opportunities.
“Join us this Saturday in downtown Clayton for a day of celebrating with great food, great music, and great shopping as we Ramshackle!” Rumsey said.
Whether you’re a longtime resident or visiting the North Georgia mountains for the first time, Ramshackle 2026 promises a full day of entertainment, community spirit, and mountain-town charm in the heart of downtown Clayton.
