NGTC Clarkesville spring commencement ceremony May 12

CLARKESVILLE, Ga. — North Georgia Technical College will hold its spring commencement ceremony on Tuesday, May 12, at 3 p.m. in the new Dr. Mark A. Ivester Center for Living and Learning on the Clarkesville campus.

Approximately 150 students are expected to participate in the ceremony as they celebrate completing their academic programs and prepare to begin the next chapter of their careers and education. The ceremony is expected to conclude around 4:30 p.m.

College officials are advising the public to expect heavy traffic along Georgia Highway 197 during the afternoon hours due to the event. Guests and community members are encouraged to allow extra travel time when traveling through the area.

Graduates will park in the Clegg and Dining Hall parking lots, while guests may use designated parking areas across campus. Signage and staff will be available to assist visitors with directions. Handicap parking will be available behind the Carlton Building.
