The changing landscape of how society functions amid the COVID-19 pandemic was on display Saturday in Cornelia.
A small group of Mercer University students traveling through Northeast Georgia stopped to get dinner at Chick-Fil-A. With the inside dining room closed, they pulled up their own chairs and ate in the parking lot.
While some local restaurants still offer in-room dining, most fast-food restaurants have resorted to to-go orders and drive-thru service only.
