Jerry Earl Ramey

Jerry Earl Ramey, age 63, of Cornelia, Georgia passed away on Wednesday, October 30, 2019.

Mr. Ramey was born on January 25, 1956, in Habersham County, Georgia. He was preceded in death by his mother, Virginia Crane Ramey; brothers, Dwayne Ramey; and Keith Ramey. Mr. Ramey worked for Ethicon in Cornelia for over 10 years. Jerry, known as Grandpa loved to spend time with his three grandchildren.

Survivors include his father, James Ramey, of Cornelia; son and daughter-in-law, Matt and Dana Ramey, of Mt. Airy; grandchildren, Anna Beth Ramey, Jacob Ramey, Aiden “Tuffy” Ramey; mother of his son, Cathy Armour, of Cornelia; sister, Regina Ramey Woodward, of Stockbridge; brothers, Larry Ramey, of Toccoa; Steve Ramey, of Baldwin.

A Visitation Service will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., Thursday, October 31, 2019, at the Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel.
