The Russell County Sheriff’s Office has launched an investigation after human remains were discovered in Seale, Alabama. The human remains were located in the woods Sunday September 6, 2026, at approximately 3:16 pm.
It is unclear who made the discovery and details are limited. The case is under investigation, and no other information is available. “As soon as the sheriff’s office has more information of anything identifying we will reach back out to the media,” the sheriff’s office announced in a brief statement.
